Taking BBC 3 content offline, to get viewers online
Since moving online, BBC Three's audience has plummeted. They still have the same great content, however many believe that BBC Three doesn't even exist anymore. In order to compete with Netflix and Amazon Prime, we identified early on the importance of a niché. Netflix and Amazon Prime both offer high budget original content. However BBC offers something that Netflix and Amazon Prime will struggle to emulate. BBC 3 is the springboard for homegrown British content. BBC 3 is inviting people to meet BBC 3 again with meetII!. A campaign that promises to meet viewers halfway, between online and offline, with actors they can see on the street and film sets they walk past every day on the way to the train.
